LEVEL TRANSMITTERS

Level Transmitters are offered with many different sensing technologies for various applications.

Submersible Level Transmitters are sensors with an electrical transmission output for indication of liquid level. Bullet, cage, and flush tip models are available. Applications include sumps, reservoirs, down hole, oil tanks, lime slurry, and water tanks.

Float level transmitters are sensors with an electrical transmission output for remote indication of liquid level. Available to be customizable. Provides up to the minute tank level monitoring. Applications include gas & oil and low specific gravity applications.

Differential Pressure Level Measurement. Measurement of level in industrial application by differential pressure transmitter is frequent. The DP Transmitter device is used to measure level as an inferential measurement. In a DP Transmitter, the diaphragm senses the head pressure developed by the height of the material in the vessel. This quantity is multiplied by a density variable to get the correct level measurement. In tanks and vessels that are not open to atmosphere and pressurized, a tuned system using two diaphragm seals can be used. There are many variables to take into account to get a properly function level device. Including diaphragm element size and spring rate, system fill characteristics, operating temperature conditions, just to name a few.
