PRESSURE CALIBRATION

Ensure Accuracy and Minimize Downtime with Traceable Pressure Calibration

At Colonial Instruments, we provide NIST or SI unit traceable calibration for a wide range of pressure instruments, from a low 5 inches of water up to a high 15,000 psig. We understand the importance of getting your instruments back in operation quickly. While our typical turnaround time is around one week, we also offer expedited service, with the potential for same-day turnaround in many cases, to minimize disruption to your critical processes.

MISSION STATEMENT

Your Trusted Partner for Comprehensive Pressure Instrument Calibration and Repair

At Colonial Instruments, we go beyond simple testing. We understand the critical role accurate pressure instruments play in your operations, which is why we actively calibrate analog pressure instruments and provide comprehensive repair services. Unlike many other labs that simply return failed instruments, we invest the time to meticulously take them apart, utilizing span and linearity adjustments to restore them to the manufacturer’s stated accuracy whenever possible. This dedication saves you time and money by reducing the need for immediate replacements.

If an instrument is beyond repair, we provide a prompt quotation for a new replacement, which we typically have in stock, and you won’t be charged for the failed unit. We also expertly handle minor repairs such as broken windows and damaged pointers.

When you entrust your instruments to Colonial Instruments for calibration, you receive more than just a test. Our standard calibration service includes a thorough cleaning – removing Teflon tape, wire brushing debris from pressure connections, and generally cleaning the instrument’s case and window. For analog pressure gauges, we perform a minimum 5-point calibration, providing you with a certificate traceable to NIST or an equivalent SI unit.

Our expertise extends to the calibration of pressure transmitters, digital pressure gauges, and manometers. We also offer HART capabilities to scale or custom configure transmitters with HART communication protocol. Need a custom look? Our custom dial services allow you to design and print custom artwork, including your logo or specialized scales (additional charges apply), all accompanied by a traceable calibration certificate.

Whether you require re-calibration of existing instruments or calibration for new ones, Colonial Instruments is your reliable source. Our extensive inventory of pressure instruments ensures fast delivery options when you need them most.
